Cardozo move to head the General Abogaca of the Union
The Minister of Justice of Brazil, Jos Eduardo Cardozo , resigned Monday amid tight rumors about alleged pressure from ruling party Workers (PT), apparently unhappy with his action against corruption, officials said.
Cardozo was in office since January 2011, when arrived to power president Dilma Rousseff , and he was considered one of the most faithful squires of the president.
the Government confirmed the departure of Cardozo in a terse official note , which indic that his position be occupied Wellington Cesar Lima, an attorney career in the public and linked sector to the current Minister of the Presidency, Jaques Wagner.
Cardozo, meanwhile, move to head the General Abogaca of the Union , whose owner, Luis Incio Adams, had already anticipated his decision to step down.
